Órgãos de Tubos da Cidade de Faro voltam a soar!

É já no próximo mês de Novembro que regressa o Festival de Órgão: http://www.acmusicaxxi.com.

Não serão apenas os sábados à noite preenchidos de música, mas também os dias que os antecedem, com a azáfama dos músicos em ensaios. Com sorte, poderá desfrutar de um ensaio pré-concerto enquanto visita a Igreja da Sé ou a Igreja do Carmo.

A 5 de Novembro, na Igreja da Sé, estará o músico húngaro-holandês Gyula Szilágyi, especialista dos órgãos históricos e da interpretação histórica dos mesmos.

João Santos, titular dos órgãos da Catedral de Leiria e do Santuário de Fátima, irá percorrer o teclado, registos e pedais do órgão da Igreja do Carmo, a 12 de Novembro.

A música de câmara tem lugar a 19 de Novembro, na Igreja do Carmo, com Carina Lasch Lind no órgão e Pedro Santos na flauta de bisel.

A fechar o cartaz, o prestigiado José L. González Uriol, reconhecido no mundo inteiro como especialista em Música Antiga de Tecla e com numerosas gravações discográficas em Órgãos Históricos.

Todos os concertos têm início às 21h30. Os concertos na Igreja da Sé têm preço de entrada de 2€, a reverter integralmente para apoio a uma instituição social. Os concertos na Igreja do Carmo são de entrada livre.

O V Festival de Órgão – Faro 2011 é organizado pela Associação Cultural Música XXI, em parceria com o Município de Faro e a Direcção Regional da Cultura do Algarve. Dada a qualidade das edições anteriores, foi reconhecido este ano o Interesse Cultural da iniciativa pelo Exmo. Senhor Secretário de Estado da Cultura.

Conta com os apoios do Programa Allgarve e do Hotel Santa Maria. Os parceiros de comunicação são o Jornal “Barlavento”, a DigitalmaisTV e a Rádio “RUA FM”.

The Organ Festival returns in the month of November.

Is is not only the saturday’s night that will be filled with music, but also the days that precede them, with the musicians in rehearsals. With luck, you can enjoy a pre-concert rehearsal while visiting the Cathedral or the Church of Caramel.

The November 5, in the Cathedral, is the Dutch-Hungarian musician Gyula Szilágyi, a specialist of historical organs and historical interpretation of them.

John Santos, holder of the organs of the Cathedral of Leiria and Fátima Sanctuary, will play music through the keyboard and pedals of the organ records the Carmo Church, on 12 November.

The chamber music takes place on November 19, the Carmo Church, Carina Lasch Lind on the organ and Pedro Santos in the flute.

To close the festival, the prestigious José L. González Uriol, recognized worldwide as a specialist in Early Music and sound recordings in many historical organs.

All concerts begin at 21:30. Concerts in the Cathedral have entry price of € 2, to revert to full support of a social institution. The concerts in the Carmo Church are free entry.

The V Organ Festival – Faro 2011 is organized by the Music XXI Cultural Association, in partnership with the Municipality of Faro and the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve. Given the quality of previous editions, was recognized this year’s as a Imortant Cultural Initiative by Hon. Secretary of State for Culture.
